Kelly Has Gone To Canada

A couple of weeks ago our younger daughter Kellyanne flew off to Canada for a year or two. Although she will be greatly missed, I am just so happy for her and look forward to hearing about her adventures as she explores Canada and other places. Within a week of arriving in Vancouver where she is making her base, she attended the Calgary Stampede in Alberta. She even met a cowboy named Chuck!

Listen to my song Kelly has Gone to Canada.

Kelly Has Gone to Canada

Kelly has gone to Canada
Oh, Canada.
We wish her well
She’s in our hearts
In Canada.

Our little girl
A woman grown and flown
To Canada.

And though she’s far away from home
We’re happy for her as she roams
In Canada.

Waltz your matilda
Across the seas
To Canada.
Visit the places
You’ve dreamed about
Near Canada.

Kelly has gone to Canada
Oh, Canada.
She’s in our hearts
She goes with our love
To Canada.

More Bubbles Please!

I’m so thrilled that my little granddaughter, Eloise, loves music as I do. She loves The Wiggles and Dan Zanes. As a result the two of us are collaborating on some children’s songs of our own.

Here’s an example. On a couple of visits to the Blue Mountains Eloise has had some fun times blowing soap bubbles.

MORE BUBBLES PLEASE

More bubbles, please
Blow them, blow
Did you see that one?
Look at it go.

I’ll try to catch it
Blow, blow again
Small ones and big ones
Falling like rain.

Some float away
Others disappear
Some land on my head
Or pop in my ear.

More bubbles please
Just one more time
I’ll catch a tiny one
And make it mine.
